This role is to work as a Technical Analyst Developer in the company`s Technology Department as part of the team responsible for maintaining a Core Data Repository of data relating to the company`s Retail Investment business.The role spans both day to day support and development projects to enhance the repository. The support side of the job will involve working with several external Transfer Agency Services (TAs)
The role will suit an individual that has gained approximately 5 years experience working in an asset management environment.
Essential Skills Required:
·Hands-on development experience working with Sybase, SQL, Unix scripting and Perl
·Working knowledge of relational databases including logical modelling and physical implementation
·Knowledge of data extract, transformation and load tools such as PowerCenter would be useful
·Object Oriented development, particularly in Java would be beneficial
